    Tuition increases are usually met with contention as the cost of higher education continues to rise. Nevertheless, many students across the country are lobbying for their school to institute a student green fee. Student green fees allow college campuses to finance sustainability initiatives and projects that may not have been possible otherwise. During my spring semester at Agnes Scott College, I was able to play an integral part in passing and implementing a student green fee on my campus.

  • Mid-year report card highlights Center victories and momentum

    Today, the Center for Green Schools released its mid-year report card, which checks in on progress toward our 2013 goals and reviews the most meaningful and quantifiable moments of the first two quarters of the calendar year.
