In Singapore today, a number of companies are building and acquiring data centers to support their business activity. As a result, the Singapore government recently announced an investment of $100 million towards technologies that will increase the energy efficiency of data centers. Considering that this building type is one of the biggest consumers of energy on the planet, this is welcome news.
