Empire State Bldg’s energy savings beat forecast, Crain’s New York Business. The LEED Gold-certified New York City landmark saved $2.3 million on its energy costs in 2012 and $2.4 million in 2011, topping anticipated savings by 4% and 5%, respectively.

Green Building Can Help,” a report from USGBC’s Green Building & Human Health Summit earlier this year that explores ways to promote and protect human health in relation to the built environment.
