World’s largest green building conference and expo comes to India for the first time.

Mumbai, India—(August 31, 2017)—USGBC, the creators of the LEED green building rating system, together with ABEC Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd., today announced that the internationally recognized architect, author, researcher and educator Edward Mazria will deliver the opening plenary keynote, “India Rising: Providing Global Leadership” at Greenbuild India. Greenbuild is the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building. It will take place from Nov. 2 to 5 in Mumbai. This is the first year Greenbuild is being hosted in India.

Washington, D.C. – (Aug. 25, 2017) – USGBC and Informa Exhibitions have announced the keynote speaker for the Closing Plenary of the 2017 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo. Acclaimed astrophysicist and cosmologist Neil deGrasse Tyson will give keynote remarks during the Closing Plenary taking place 11:00 am-12:30 pm on Friday, Nov. 10, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

“Greenbuild has become the defining moment each year for the green building world to convene, and it’s a place where the future of our movement is shaped,” said Mahesh Ramanujam, president and CEO, USGBC. “Dr. Tyson’s clarity and wit as a respected science expert will challenge and invigorate our community to address the many serious issues affecting the environment and our world today.”
